Well it is time for my biggest game of the year since I live down here in this place it's bigger for me personally than for the usual BAMA fan living in God's country...
1. I know much has been made of our offense but seriously last week against ucheat G Mac did pretty dang well except in stats but drops were his down fall and stalled 4 drives that I counted.. Facing 3 of the top 5 defenses in the SEC will tend to make anyone and that even means superman look vunerable and yes he even looks bad....
2. This game just feels so much better than the past 2 for me, I could tell we were dog tired and just out of whack on offense and the defense certainly needed some relief after the last half of the ucheat game.. Again a catch here or there and we are moving the ball at will...
3. One of the big boys will have a game I have a feeling and I do not mean JJ or Ingram I think Maze, Hanks or McCoy (whatever happened to him??) will step up their game and CNS is no fool he has heard the fans and the media bashing or questioning our offense and I would look for G Mac to be given the keys to the car this week-end for the driving..
4. Our running game is bounds ahead of lswho in reality you would think it should be the other way around but they have struggled to run and Scott has had 1 game over 100 yds and that was against Tulane of all teams...
5. Many of the lswho fans seem to think their team is hitting it's stride or getting it in gear now but the reality is they have played how many teams in the top 25?? If my memory is correct that number is 1 and they lost it.. I will say it was close but again read #2 superman ain't so super when that's all you got....
6. I will say lswho's defense is probably the fastest we will see but they will be heck bent on stopping our running game thinking G Mac cannot beat them which is exaxtly why I think we will... CNS has been hung out and questioned on why we don't throw the deep ball or why we do not throw it over 20 yds anymore till he is blue in the face... I would bet the house that he and CJM have set down and made it a top option to throw the rock deep when they bring up the safties.. While they have a very solid corner it is solid because of the safties and walking them up to stop the run should give one of our WR's his HUGE chance to make his name at BAMA...
I do not predict scores for BAMA but I do watch film and analyze alot of football. I just see our defense as the difference maker because they will get tired if we can get them 3 and out most of the 1st half and then its MI time with a long PA pass sometime in the 3rd...... Gonna be a good one and I guess we shall see.........................

I think we have more than 'a shot' at winning. We are the the favorites, and we should be. However, we also more than 'a shot' at losing if we don't figure out what we're doing on offense.

Good point. I mean, since that UF game, the bayou Bengals have faced the mighty bye week, the AUsome Iggles, and the Green (sick) Wave. Not exactly a very daunting list of foes. Yes, LSU has looked much better the last two weeks, but how could they not. The barn, despite beating OM in Nutt's annual puke away a win game, is still not a very solid team, especially away from Jordan-Hare. And I'm still not certain that Tulane actually fielded a team last Saturday. I've yet to see any highlights, and the Green Wave are listed near the bottom in most statistical categories kept by the NCAA, almost as if they were being listed as an afterthought. Kind of like the NCAA had to go back and make up some #'s and list them after the fact. So, if I was a LSU fan, yes, I would feel a bit better about my team right now, but let's all remember who exactly the mighty Tigahs have been playin'!
A shot? Alabama is favored to win. We have more than a shot.

Well, we're a nine point favorite on our own home field, I would hope we have a "shot" at winning. What's gotten into to everyone thinking so lowly of this team? We're ranked number three in the coutry, and have won twenty consecutive regular season games. Have some pride.

Coach Bryant, after announcing his retirement, was asked if he was dissappointed that an Alabama player had never won the Heisman Trophy while he was the coach. He said, "No!", and added, "At Alabama our players do not win Heisman Trophies, our teams win national championships."
I agree with the post almost in its entirety. I like the breakdown and think it is pretty spot on. The only thing I would change is I would flip it around and say LSwho had "a shot" if we can't get it going on offense.
I believe we will win. Last game we didn't have JA at 100% and with Peek going out that kind of hurt, but we still found a way to win. We showed alot of charachter against UcheaT. We've had a little time to rest and get our legs under us and watch alot of game film and I do believe we will be quite ready for the Bayou Putty Tats.

THANK YA! Its Bama's game to lose and I dont think the boys are ready to pack it in just yet. Look for better play calling and MI owning the 4thq. People seem to discount the fact we are coming off a heck of a tough run through confrence play(undefeated run I might add) and needed this bye week to adjust and heal up. Coach Saban and staff will have this team ready to play football come Saturday.
LSU hasnt exactly been an offensive juggernaut this season. They scored a few points against AU and Tulane, but they won't score many against a fresh Bama D.
I think the off week is going to be huge for Alabama. I look for a very, very strong game from Bama.
