What tops the chart as an Alabama fan?

Share

So I don't normally venture into the TideSports forums but this time I'm looking for some Bama fans who can tell me what they're most thankful for in light of an upcoming Thanksgiving/Bama story. As an Alabama graduate and Saturday gameday participant, I've seen the games and have several things I could write about, but it's not the same as reaching out to hard core fans. If you consider yourself an Alabama fan, I'd love to know what you're most thankful for this football season. I'm not setting any guidelines, just that you give me your honest thoughts. You can send me your thoughts here and or email me at ashley.boyd@tuscaloosanews.com

Thanks!

Ashley

I am thankful for Coach Nick Saban. He has brought stability and greatness back to Alabama. I am also thankful for the effort our team gives every Saturday. Last but not least the people who give us the freedom to enjoy football on Saturdays and life everyday.

As an Alabama football fan, and graduate of the University of Alabama, I am extremely pleased by the efforts of Coach Saban and President Witt in continuing to build on the legacies that were forged many years ago in making Alabama a football power, and tremendous academic institution.

Coach Bryant, after announcing his retirement, was asked if he was dissappointed that an Alabama player had never won the Heisman Trophy while he was the coach. He said, "No!", and added, "At Alabama our players do not win Heisman Trophies, our teams win national championships."
