Is everyone rested? Is everyone pumped up? A win over LSU clinches the Western Division and sets the SEC Championship game opponents Bama vs Florida probably for a shot at the BCS Championship.

Not sure how rested I am... very restless night trying to sleep (wonder why). Am I PUMPED up- YES! I am ready for game time.... Just got back from gym and now the pacing begins. Let's go BAMA!

I am with you guys. I woke up about 4 AM and could not get back to sleep. I am heading down to Tuscaloosa at about 9:00 this morning with my dad. He used to get the tickets and take me to all the big Bama games when I was a boy but now I get the tickets and take him. There is nothing like watching the game in person with your dad. He brought me up on Alabama football and he is the reason I have been a Tide fan all my life.

That's what alot of us thought about UT and you see how that turned out.

I haven't been worried about winning a game this season till yesterday. We have played higher ranked teams but this is a good LSU team that may be peaking. I don't think the Tide has peaked yet and hope they do today and bring home a decisive win. GM has to have a good day today, maybe not a great day but he has to have a good one. At least one of our receivers has to show up and Ingram has to punish LSU with lots of yards. If Ingram or our other backs score a couple of touchdowns it will settle me down. Last year Scott gained more yards than any other back against us. We can't let LSU get a running game started and I dont think Jefferson is quite there where LSU can put a big game on his shoulders to win against a top notch defense. One thing is certain, this game has all the makings to be one of the best SEC matchups of the season with a lot on the line.

Some differences:

1. You've had two weeks to prepare. Weeks off don't always help teams, but I think Saban is a good enough coach where it will. This off week gave you two weeks to figure out why JJ is not getting touches and how to remedy that

2. John Chavis. I really hate to bash the guy bc he was a true volunteer, and a very nice guy, but he has trouble with his "bend but don't break." It was very effective for a long time, but it is not anymore and he has not adapted to the new college football. Y'all run a more traditional offense, so that will help LSU some, but your Wild Elephant will kill him, IMO. Monte Kiffin >>> John Chavis

3. Even though we've only had 8 games to judge, I think (at least so far) that Lane Kiffin is alot better gameday coach than Les Miles. (This is your gameday thread, so we won't get into that argument, if you disagree LOL, but that is my honest opinion

Good morning everyone, I see a lot of you made it up before me. Har to sleep well for some reason. I have already played the game out in my head twice. We won both by the way!! Now I expect it for real. ROLL TIDE!
