Auburn vs. The Mighty Furman Paladins

42-3 at the half. I guess they'll want to be ranked come tomorrow?

Re: Auburn vs. The Mighty Furman Paladins

This obviously shows that Auburn is unstoppable now.

Re: Auburn vs. The Mighty Furman Paladins

No, but games like this are great for giving your second string a chance to play.

Our 3rd string defense was no better than the fans in the student section. A lot of those guys are walk-ons and not scholarship players. Our first string held them to 3 pts.

Offense we had some surprises. Anthony Gulley played as a true freshman and he quickly rose to the top of the rushing list for this game. The guy is going to be a baller. De Angelo Benton who we happily took from LSU last year was doing very well..

It's Furman.. but every team needs these games for morale and to clear the benches for those that haven't seen playing time yet.

BTW - Awesome win today Bama! Your defense looks stout as ever and your rushing game is pretty damn impressive. It was a classic SEC showdown.

First time I've seen one of your posts, very classy post, don't see many of them from Auburn fans. Kudos to you.

I saw the half-time score and then the final. Chiz isn't kidding when he says lack of depth, is he?

On defense, the difference is frankly shocking. Our first string is decent, but the second doesn't belong on the field with a SEC team.
