Great game by both teams

Share

Wanna say good game by Bama...specifically Ingram.

Obviously, I've got my complaints about the striped ones...and wish we hadn't had so many guys go down.

Peterson picked that one...with BOTH feet in. I'm sure Les will have a fine coming his way this week.

I think this game answered some questions for LSU fans. Particularly, why Jordan Jefferson is QB instead of Lee. (yes, believe it or not, some were in Lee's camp )

Not the crushing you expected though, GCTider. Good game, as expected.

Re: Great game by both teams

I have my doubts about that call too. Oops, will the SEC be fining me 30K?

Regardless, LSU didn't make the plays they needed to to pull off the win.

Re: Great game by both teams

Like I said to you earlier this week: the refs are conspiring for us. I thought Peterson was out. I am not biased in any way. Great game by both teams.

Re: Great game by both teams

may be the game of the decade...i thought there were some very suspect calls both ways...i think the INT should have been an INT, but still think we would have won...

ROLL TIDE!!

Big A Re: Great game by both teams

I thought you (LSU) got a raw deal on that one....would have made the game a little more exciting for sure.

Re: Great game by both teams

Refs missed things on both sides, and they were pretty hands-off the whole game. I thought it was an INT too. But on the other side, there's no safety if the refs correctly spotted the ball at the 5, where it hit an LSU player's foot, rather than the .001 yard line. It evens out.

If I were you, I'd be more upset with Miles going for 2 early on, and at your S&C staff.

Re: Great game by both teams

Good game for sure. That interception could have gone either way, been watching it on replay a bunch and just too close and not enough to override the call in my opinion, I'm biased obviously. I will say that your offense has certainly improved even though Scott got hurt and left the game. You got a great team and if you continue winning, I expect to see you in the Cotton Bowl or Capital One Bowl. Good luck.

Almost forgot about that. The officiating was pretty hands off. I prefer that and not just because we won.

It doesn't really matter if it was a interseption or not because Smelly caught that first pass and who knows what we would have done after that.
