How dominating will Dareus become???

Share

With the way Dareus has played this season, and given the fact he has 2 more yrs of eligibility, how will he stack up against ALL-TIME Crimson Tide D lineman. He is a relentless rusher who gets better and better as the game progresses. Game after game when we need the sack late in the game, guess who is sacking or causing the QB to run for cover???

I would like to say here's your "helmet sticker" ........

I can't wait to see how much further he develops and am glad he plays for my beloved TIDE.

Really great to see how he is developing. He plays so hard. Glad to see his hard work paying off.

Re: How dominating will Dareus become???

I simply refer to him as "The beast". Its hard to say that he is the best on the DL because there is so much talent on the DL. But he may very well be the best player on the DL.

I guess what I am trying to say is that he is awsome.

Big A Re: How dominating will Dareus become???

If he stays at Alabama for four years, I think he's going to be one of the better DL we've ever had at Alabama. Dude has got serious skills.

Your right, he is a beast. And he's only going to get better. Great talent.

Re: How dominating will Dareus become???

It's interesting how often Marcel's name really begins cropping up in the second half. Wonder if that's a sign of our line depth kicking in.

For those of y'all who know how to access those things, it would be fun to see how many plays MD gets, and when most of his tackles/sacks/general havoc occur.

Last night, his bursts in the fourth quarter were breathtaking.

Re: How dominating will Dareus become???

Dareus is fast becoming a star on defense...he had a dominating performance yesterday. He just seems to turn it up a notch in the 4th qtr.

Re: How dominating will Dareus become???

Dareus is stud. If he isn't in the backfield it's because he is held on just about every play. Unfortunately for us, i'm afraid he's another to add to the growing list of those likely to become NFL millionaires after next season.

Re: How dominating will Dareus become???

Dareus is possibly the prototypical 3-4 DE. I think it will be hard to keep him out of the draft next year - but I'd love to be surprised.

Re: How dominating will Dareus become???

Right before his first sack, the camera showed him and I pointed him out to my brother and said something about Dareus being a beast. It was almost like I called it. He has an incredible amount of potential
