Ehhh... as long as Alabama, Florida, and Texas are in some combination 1, 2, and 3... it doesn't matter what position we are ranked.

I know.......I just think that having smacked around a team that took LSU to the wire and could have beaten UF would have warranted a few more points!

Meh, the top 3 are interchangable. I am a bit biased in thinking BAMA is the stronger, particularly on defense than the other two, but all three teams are really, really good.
If our special teams (returns coverage) was better, I'd say we're the most complete team but we're having too much inconsistency in that area to really make that argument.

Thanks for the post, i figured that we would stay put. Funny they still have USC ranked- ridiculous. I also didn't realize that AU was ranked last week.

Looks like it will be Nebraska and Texas in the Big 12 championship game. Depending on which team shows for Nebraska they could win that game. That would put TCU in the title game. I think we would do better against Texas because it would be easier to get up for that game.

If you can't get up for the NC, you don't deserve to be there.

Coaches poll is irrelevant on it's own(does not award a NC). The BCS and AP are all I'm concerned with.

Lat week we were #3 in the coaches, but it's parent, the BCS had us #2. I expect the same this week, especially considering we moved up in the AP.

I don't think we make the same mistake this year. If BAMA makes it to the NCG, I think we'll be ready to play, no matter who the opponent is.

And I feel that way as a fan too. Yes, I'd prefer BAMA to play Texas maybe more than the others , but I really don't care if we play Cinci, Texas or TCU, or BoiseSt. Whoever the other team is, I just BAMA to be there in the Big Game at the end and show that they deserve to be there.
