Based on the past few years, the answer would have to be yes.
Having said that, I hope we take all the if's, and's and but's out of it, starting Friday.

On one site, the writer said that Ole Miss' victory over LSU actually makes it more likely that Bama could recover from a loss to Auburn than could Florida from a loss to FSU if they turned around and made up for the loss with a victory in the SECCG. LSU is basically Florida's top win for this season to date and the only current top 25 team that they've beaten. With Ole Miss returning to the top 25, Bama has victories over 3 current top-25 teams.

I have heard the same thing as well. I do agree 100% with your assessment! btw, if Leslie's tigahs can do it with 2 losses, why not the Mighty Tide?? |

It was just that kind of a year. 2009 will not produce that kind of crazy matchup for the championship game.

It's true they have nothing to loose, but equally true that we have too much to loose to do anything except trounce them.
(Think last year but a better Tide team) |

And maybe "lose" and "loose"...
