Backyard Burger - just saw it yesterday is in process on Taylor Rd right as you approach the Vaughn Rd intersection coming off I85, it's on the left. And Starbuck's is coming right in front of East Chase!

Well, from the looks of todays Mobile Register, looks like a trip by Ed's would be worth it if you're in the area!

Welcome to Ed's

Not much will power TommyMac! I just happen to help build a few fast food processing plants(beef, turkey, chicken and pork) McDonalds, Taco Bell, Tyson, Hardee's, and KFC. After the second one I quit fast food cold turkey, after about 7-8 I started working in Pharmaceutical plants. There a lot cleaner and not so mind blowing.

Cool

Can't wait for the BackYard Burger to try. You gotta give Hardees credit, their new hamburgers are extra good because of the top quality beef they now use. It is a great move for them. I also like Hardees because the use LEAF lettuce, not the shredded stuff that falls out into your lap (or stomach, if that's in the way). I recently ate another hamburger at Chris' in downtown Montgomery. I have to say I really, really liked it. I had to order another.

Where is the other downtown Montgomery hamburger placce located? Thanks.

BUTTER BURGERs in Hattiesburg, MS, way back in 1973-6 at the "Frosty" were great. It had almost as much FAT as McD's. Butter-Fried patty , buttered, toasted bun, and my heart starts skipping beats thinking about it.

Tried my first Milo burger in Birmingham Saturday. It was definately different. Wasn't a bad burger and I would eat there again. But I still like What-a-Burger best. Will try the back yard burger the next time I go up that way.

I saw several folks promote Milo's. I went for first time ever yesterday. I don't get the hype. Guess we all have different tastes. I thought it was bland sauce. JMO. Burger King angus is pretty good, compared.

Scrammer,

Actually you are in the majority of people that I know that have tried Milo's. Most people that I know don't like it, but you have to admit that it is unique. I love them though.....the secret's in the sauce....

Steve's Pool hall in Tusc/NP on Haighway 82, hands down.

When I was in law school down there, we ate at almost every restaurant in town. One day five of us called around and asked the restaurants if the had the "Bggest, Greasiest, Juiciest, Mouthwatering Burger in Town". Only one place stepped up to the plate and and said "Hell yea we have the Biggest, Greasiest, Juiciest Mouthwatering Burger in the state." That was Steve himself saying that.

We had never been there, so we loaded up and went there for lunch. Let me tell you the man was not lying.

Don't know if Steve's pool hall is still there or not, but if it is, go in and ask for the "biggest, greasiest, juiciest, mouthwatering burger. You won't be disapointed.

Besides that PJ's gut grinders drive through is pretty good.
