We have a Cheeburger Cheeburger here - a few, actually. They're O.K.
C.S.'s in Jackson (MS) has a couple on their menu: the CS burger (named for the restuarant - Central Station), and the Inez Burger - named for legendary waitress Inez. I'm not sure if Inez is still around - I haven't lived there since 1989. There was a local newspaper columnist that immortalized the Inez Burger in an article in the mid 80's.
Of course, experinecing an Inez Burger at C.S.'s was also consuming the atmosphere of C.S.'s itself. I saw at various times people from bankers to politicians to high school buds to people tucked away in the corner conducting their illicit affairs.
Actually, Inez got to know me one foggy night because I walked out on my food/booze tab. Fortunately, my friend was there to take care of it. When my bud told me about it the next day my response was "Huh? What you talking about? We wuz at C.S.'s last night?"
You know I'm actually real close to Barnville here in Tallassee (yes I went to school at AU, but still yell Roll Tide), Cheeburger Cheeburger has been there for years and they still take your picture and hang it on the wall if you eat every bite of the pounder. It actually is a great burger, hey what better place to get a burger than the cow college.....lol

Stadium Grill in Bessemer is full of Bama Memorabilia (as well as other historic sports things) and has one of the best burgers you can put into your mouth.

We usually get the Bubba burgers when we tailgate. They are expensive but very good. As far as fast food I like Sonic! Here in the Nashville area we also have a small local chain called Fat Mo's. They have great burgers and have been voted Nashville's best burger for many years!

Shady Acres Fruit Stand on the outskirts of Seminary, MS. About 20 miles or so north of Hattiesburg toward Jackson on Highway 49. Awesome burger! Many regulars, both from around here and from around the country who stop in regularly on their travels.
Of course, since there's only one, I s'pose it may not count as "fast food"...in the "chain" category, I'd go w/ Whataburger & Backyard. (BTW, I've never had any complaints about the chicken being undercooked...)

"In short, Alabama fans have plenty to be proud of right now, and plenty to look forward to. And that pride and optimism isn’t only rooted in tangible accomplishment either. A lot of it is rooted in the class and character of the men who lead the program and of the young men who wear that crimson jersey."

My daughters had chicken many times at Backyard and never had a problem with it.

I had a cheeseburger from Dairy Queen the other day that made me tingle in my bathing suit area.
'Course, I was real hungry at the time.

If a DQ cheeseburger had that effect on you, you'd better not try to eat a Backyard Burger in public.

It depends on where I am. In Houston I like What-A-Burger for fast food burgers. In Louisiana, the Cajun Blaze at Burger Tyme in Lafayette is great, and Bud's Broiler in New Orleans is legendary. In South Mississippi I like the Chili-Cheese burger from Ward's.
Of course, my childhood favorite was Jack's Hamburgers because they sponsored the TV cartoons, and were good, good, good! But I haven't been to a Jack's hamburgers in many years. Are they still in business in Alabama?

Yes, there's one on Hackberry Lane directly across the street from the Alabama football practice fields.
