Milo's is definitely my favorite. Everytime Alabama has a day game in Tuscaloosa, my wife, sister-in-law and brother-in-law have to stop at Milo's on the way back to Atlanta.
I saw someone mention In and Out and also Jack In the Box in California. A story on both. In-and Out are very good burgers. They gave out bumper stickers that read In and Out Burgers. Well you would see many altered bumper stickers on the back of cars that read In and Out Urge. Comical if you have a dirty mind.
As far as Jack In the Box, while living just a block off the USC campus, there was a Jack in the Box a couple of blocks away on Vermont Ave. Seemed as though there was always some kind of gang related activity going on there. One night a would be carjacker approached a man in an El Camino going through the drive thruwith a gun and ordered the man out of the car. Apparently the would be carjacker got pointed the gun too close to the intended victim. The man in the El Camino grabbed the gun away from the punk and shot the want to be carjacker. Hilarious. I had just left Jack In the Box when this happenned. Heard the gun shots. One of the several times that I got to witness or hear gunshots in that area. A thrill a minute.
I'm not much on fast foods, however, Hardee's thick burger is probably one of the best out there.
Marinated in teriyaki and topped with grilled pineapple, Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. Dude, you’ll be like, ready to ride the pipeline on O'ahu’s North Shore after you chomp on this!
Those of you in Texas, Red Robin is coming your way. Check it out if you can.
Let me tell you about my one and only trip to Cheeburger Cheeburger.
6 burgers (3 serious, 3 semi-serious), grilled onions or bacon on all of them.
6 regular size malts
4 medium fries
2 medium onion rings
The cost was almost $90, thank goodness no tip was required. Pretty good burgers but I have had better for less money. A trip to Backyard Burgers would be less than half that price.

ROFL, been there done that. They make a good burger. Only been once myself and it was expensive. You can buy a giood steak dinner for the price of a burger, fries and a malt.

Agree. I have been there only once with my wife. We both had a burger, we shared a large fry, which was plenty big enough to share, and she had a Coke and I had water. It was about $20. WAaaaaayyyy too expensive for the product. It was good but not THAT good.

If you visit the DC area try Five Guys; there are at least a dozen stores around here. It's a no-frills burger joint, and everything is fresh (even the buns are made locally.) You have a whole range of toppings from which to choose, and an order of cajun-seasoned fries can feed two or three people easily. FWIW, Five Guys has consistently been tops in the "best burger" category according to Washingtonian Magazine.

I was less than impressed with Chee Burger too. Not that good to start with and VERY overpriced. Evidently I wasn't alone. The place folded in about a year.

I like Hamburger Hut for anyone who lives around Marietta, Ga!! It's at Johnson Ferry and Shallowford Rd!!
