Smile What's for dinner tonight?

Share

Beef Pot roast with cooked carrots
Mashed Potatoes & onion gravy
Fried Okra
Baby Limas seasoned with bacon & onion
Sliced tomatoes
Fresh Baked Bread
Desert - Pineapple cobbler

Tomorrow is pig out day. We will eat pot roast probably into the week end. It will make good sandwiches when I go fishing Thursday. I haven't been out in the boat in a while but we did catch, cook and clean many crabs last week. We ate crabs till we were full and put 6 pounds in the freezer. Wish I had kept some claws to make BamaLuver's recipe.

Re: What's for dinner tonight?

I can tell you that its NOT going to be THIS!!!!

On the other hand, this Spanish Chicken recipes sounds yummm -- although I wonder if I could swap the turkey sausage for conecuh (or would it make it too greasy)??

You lucky dog -- and here I thought we had it good living right on the gulf coast!

Re: What's for dinner tonight?

I got a crabby mushroom soup recipe from a buddy at work that I think I'll try. He keeps talking about it but never brings any in, so I just asked for the recipe. Looks good.

Pork Loin stuffed with apples and onions.

Odd pairing, but I bought the pork loin a couple of days ago so I need to use it - and I'm just anxious to cook the soup.

If it is too greasy I would just eat around the greasy spots. I am not a big fan of turkey sausage but last time I visited my son he cooked some Emeril's chicken and apple sasuage on the grill that I liked very much.

One of my favorites. When you tire of it send me the leftovers.

You are one very lucky fellow....

BamaLuver's recipe did look great. The picture looked almost like the ones served at Copeland's. You have to save the excess sauce when you order them and eat it on bread or pour it over your steak!
