I'm thinking fried chicken. Its good hot or cold all day long and doesn't take long to make.
Sides will likely be oven baked potato wedges tossed in olive oil, rosemary and garlic seasoning. Corn on the cob with garlic & cayenne pepper butter. Spicy Asian Green Beans, baby green beans stir fried in sesame oil with rice wine vinegar (or cider vinegar) crushed red pepper flakes, a little sugar and minced garlic. Prep and cooking time about 30 min.
Snacks my usual cheese, salami, cold boiled shrimp, crackers and fresh fruit.
I'm going to be cooking up some chicken wings on the grill, half with hot sauce brushed on and half with honey bbq sauce brushed on. Also will have some grilled Italian sausage and some sauteed onions and bell peppers to top them off with. Plan on washing it all down with ice cold beer and I'm making some sangria for the ladies.
My world famous Hamburgers and beer brats. The brats have become a staple here on gameday.
For the sides, I'm thinking some sort of beer.
I'll be away from the house, and cooking on a charcoal grill, so here's hoping that everything turns out smoothly. I'm used to cooking on gas...

Hard to beat a good beer brat for the game I like mine with mustard, grilled onions & peppers. Cold beer and some chips and I'm good to go.
One change in my menu is no boiled shrimp today. Yesterday a friend dropped off a gallon of shucked oysters so I may wrap a few in bacon and pop them in the oven and might eat a few straight from the jar.

I like to put my brats in a tinfoil pan on the grill with a variety of spices, some onions, and a couple beers. I let em sit in the beer on the grill until they turn white and then pull them out and finish them off over the fire. Then take the onions out and put them on the brat with some mustard. Sooooo good.
I've heard of it done the exact opposite way than I do it, but that was they way I was taught.
