A war was declared at 7:30 pm. tonight as #1 Katy took on #2 John Tyler (hint: Farmer's old rival). John Tyler took over leading 21 to 3 at the half.
Later they won 35-3.
This was the rematch of the 2000 5A division 2 State title match.

I always like to hear about big games from other states.

Go to KatySports.net to read about the game. Tyler used 13 running backs to gind out over 300 yards rushing against the defending state champs. It was ugly.
