Where will you be Friday night? I will be at John Carroll. They are playing Sylacauga. Does any one know how good Sylacauga is?
I will be at Paul Bryant vs Jackson-Olin, where I'll watch the halftime show for the first time all season. J-O's band is supposed to be great!
Haven't seen Sylacauga, since they don't come to the Tuscaloosa area.

Tidehawk, has the change in coaching staff improved the ... "perception" among the referee brotherhood of Pville football, or has the new coach picked up where the old coach left off?

From knowing football players, he might have picked up and is moving a little faster.

Hey Tidehawk, you couldn't have been at the Stanhope/Prattville game, those guys were..... lacking. It was a good, hard fought game and a big gutcheck for the Lions.
The improvements to Stanhope's stadium are nice and were long overdue.
I think Region 4 has three teams, Prattville/Wetumpka/Stanhope, capable of making a deep run into the playoffs. I haven't looked at the playoff brackets for this year but I could see two Region 4 teams playing in the semifinals.

Sorry guys, I was in Atlanta last week until Friday afternoon and haven't checked in like I should. I did not have the SEHS/PHS game - I haven't seen PHS all year. I had the Trinity/Montgomery Academy game. edwd58, I haven't heard anything disparaging about the Lions this year - our association does not have their contract, so if we call them it is when they are the visiting team. The only thing I have heard is that PHS is still head and shoulders above anyone around here and is poised to make another run at Birmingham.

I agree... The refs left something to be desired.
The stadium was nice. My friends and I were some of the people the PA Announcer kept telling to sit down and get away from the fence; we would have exept we had no where to sit.
Also, I was glad to see Sam come through in the clutch. I was dissappointed to see the student section start chanting "We want King!". I think Sam is better at short passes then go deep on pump fakes and hitch'n'goes
