STATE CHAMPS - Oklahoma Track and Field
I wish I could put this thread in one of the heavier traffic pages but, owell...
 Guthrie Bluejays 5A State Champions 09 Oklahoma Track and Field I placed first in the 400 with a 49.34, we got the fastest qualifying time in the 4x4 with a 3:19.76, but in the finals, we already had the meet won so the fire wasn't there so we dropped to fourth with an embarassing 3:26.42, which is still kinda quick but we're better than that, a medals a medal though. (they medled top 6) Then I ran a blistering 2:02.21 split in the 4x8 and we got 2nd with a 8:14.70, Heck of a year for our team! It was the first track and field State Championship for our school and I moved into the district in mid-november so I'm so glad I could help our team out and finish with a win! This is the 4th state championship in 2 years for our school! 1 football 2 basketball 1 track some crazy good athletes and coaches! Go Bluejays!!
