White's ball, fourth and 10 from the Red 35. White lines up for a field goal. The tee is placed on the Red 43. The ball is snapped, spotted on the tee and kicked. The ball lands on the Red 15 and rolls dead on the Red 2. Whose ball and where?

Red football on the 2...1st and 10.

The kick is the same as a punt.

Where do you officiate VolFan? You are dead on. In high school football, the only difference between a punt and a field goal is that a field goal can score points.

I have been around the high school game for a few years now. Nothing like high school football.

Not many casual fans know those two rules. I did those questions to try to let everyone know what the rule is in case it should come up, particularly since they are different than college or pro rules.

I like that you post these here. I have problems getting some of them right, especially if they are something really off the wall.

Yes, the difference in Sat/Sun and Friday night can be drastically different. No uncatchable ball for sake of pass interference. No outside the tackles for sake of grounding.

You are right, I do officiate and love it!
