83-0 is a bit too much IMO.

Ehhh...

Reading the article, it appears to me that the coach took enough measures to try and prevent big plays, but he couldn't help the fact that the other team must have just been absolutely horrendous that night. A lot of those points came off of turnovers and returns, and as the article states, the team only had one real big drive. If anything, the losing coach should be answering questions about why he let his team get drubbed 83-0.

Even when you have back-ups in the game, you can't help it if the other team gives you extremely easy opportunities to score.

i'm not to crazy about the 83-0 score, i read the article and eventhough the coach pulled his starters at halftime. sounds like the 2nd & 3rd teams had no problems in scoring. but what coach isn't gonna tell his teams not to score when they have the ball. even 2nd & 3rd team players wanna get in the books. defense has to do a better job of stopping them. oh well. here's hoping we don't see another score like that again. but please stop apoligizing for winning so big. do u think anyone else would do that??.

Sorry we beat you 83-0. hope you get a td next year.
