OK fans of high school football, try this one:

:02 left in the first half. Red has the ball on its own 35 yard line. Red 12 throws a pass down to the White 30 where it is caught by Red 88 who is then tackled. The clock runs out during the play. However, White 16 is called for pass interference on the play. What are Red's options?

Decline the penalty & go to the locker room for halftime or accept the penalty & have one play from the 50.

Let's change the play very slightly: In addition to pass interference, White is also guilty of roughing the passer. Now what are Red's options?

Same as before or they could decline the pass interference,accept the roughing the passer, which would be an add-on penalty giving red the ball at the White 15 with one play to go before half.
