Why Perry Swindall left Russellville?
I was just wondering why he left after building it up? I know that he took a job at Spain Park and now is a coach at Lafayette in Georgia. I live close to Lafayette and everyone here thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread lol.. Just kinda hard to understand why he would want to come to this one horse town.

I sure can't answer specifically for Coach Swindall, but I know that at the HS level, there are sometimes reasons that aren't apparent at first glance. Family concerns often override professional advancement.

I didn't think of that. Now that you mentioned it he coached at another school before Russellville. If I'm not mistaken between the 2 schools it would be about 20 years of coaching in Alabama.
