10,000 fugitives captured

in a nationwide operation.

Quote:
Among the 10,340 people captured between April 4 and April 10 are 162 accused or convicted of murder, 638 wanted for armed robbery, 553 wanted for rape or sexual assault, 154 gang members and 106 unregistered sex offenders.
This is, of course, great news, but don't you have to wonder what the hell law enforcement was doing previously?

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

They were probably finishing paperwork from the last big sting.

One of my friends in the police department said that he's more likely to get carpal tunnel than be shot in the line of duty.

i wonder if they used the trick where they send the fugitives a letter telling them they won a sweepstakes and when they show up to pick up their prize they nab them. saw that on cops once and it was pretty durn funny

Now we should round up all of the aliens that BROKE THE LAW by ILLEGALLY coming here and deport them. After we fine the hell out of the host countries in some manner.
