Angry Soldier recovering at Walter Reed gets Christmas Card telling him to die

Share

Link - This is just disgusting.

Michelle Malkin makes the excellent suggestion of sending Christmas Cards to this soldier and the rest of the soldiers at Walter Reed. I think I'm going to go out during lunch and pick up some cards to send to these guys.

EDIT: Update to Ms. Malkin's post from a reader on how to get letters to the soldiers at Walter Reed:
Quote:
I called Walter Reed to find out the best way to send a bunch of cards to soldiers, and was directed to the Red Cross office at Walter Reed. The gentleman I spoke to said to bundle multiple cards in one big manilla envelope and send them to the Red Cross office and they will distribute them. He was a nice man who is a wounded soldier himself. The address I was given is:

Red Cross
Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue NW
Heaton Pavillion
3EO5
Washington, DC 20307

The man said they can also use stamps, gloves and stocking caps at the Red Cross office there.

I hope that jackass is happy with himself; nice touch making the card look like it came from a little kid.

I send cards and gifts to the troops every holiday. I think I'll double-down on that effort for Christmas. Calling cards are a good idea; maybe my wife will bake some candies as well. We live a short distance from Walter Reed, so I'll make sure I let the soldiers and marines know how much I appreciate them.

That's pathetic. That ****** me off to be quite frank! I'd like to get those idiots and put them in a burlap sack and dangle them from a tree and let a group of 10 yr old baseball players play "pinata" with broom sticks.

What the heck was someone thinking, to do that?

Oh, right. "Thinking". There's an unwarranted assumption.
