"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Re: RIP Heath Ledger

I know wikipedia isn't reliable or the end all be all to what happened, but some of the findings at the scene are a bit, odd.

Quote:
The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon apartment in Manhattan owned by the actress Mary-Kate Olsen, according to the New York City police. Signs pointed to a suicide, police sources said. Mr. Ledger was 28.

At 3:31 p.m., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building, at 421 Broome Street in SoHo, for an appointment with Mr. Ledger, the police said. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger naked and unconscious on a bed, with pills scattered around his body. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities.

The police said they did not suspect foul play. The police said they believed Ms. Olsen, 21, was in California and said it was not clear why Mr. Ledger was in her apartment.
He was in Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment?!?
Wonder where she is?

His 2006 movie Candy:

"A poet (Ledger) falls in love with an art student (Cornish) who gravitates to his bohemian lifestyle -- and his love of heroin. Hooked as much on one another as they are on the drug, their relationship alternates between states of oblivion, self-destruction, and despair."

Unhappy Re: RIP Heath Ledger

He was the new Joker in the "The Dark Knight" coming this summer. Truly sad.

I imagine it will be drugs. Pointless waste of a young life.

Re: RIP Heath Ledger

On a brighter note, at least he finished the filming of his role (the Joker) in The Dark Knight. I am hearing very good things about his acting in that role. Could win him a posthumous award...

Re: RIP Heath Ledger

daughter exiled is bummed, as HL's one of her favorites.

Now it appears that his passing was either suicide or accidental overdose, acc. to what I've read. Sad stuff.

All indications are that he absolutely nailed the role of The Joker. Seeing it now is going to add an extra layer of creepiness to an already sinister performance.

Heath Bars are one of my favorite candy bars.

"Starburst Ledger" probably would not have had the same star appeal.

Good on his mum and pops.
