Re: Destin 4th from 300 ft.

I hope your para sailing experience was a little different than my most recent effort. I was in Thailand not that long ago, and upon returning to the sea platform one of the guys that get you in and out of your gear grabbed my boys and gave them a shake. Needless to say that wasn't something I was expecting, and the event was a little slow in registering. Did that just happen? Did I interpret that right? Was that some sort of local custom? Why couldn't that have been a chick? I watched as others came in for their landings - nothing. I apparently had a unique experience. I felt dirty, ashamed and pyschologically bruised.

So, stuff like that happen in Destin?

Re: Destin 4th from 300 ft.

My uncle is a retired teacher from the Fort Walton school system. We've been visitig that area since the late 60s. When I was very little, there was almost nothing between Fort Walton and Panama City. I remember going fishing out of the marina in Destin when there were only 3 or 4 buildings total there. And none of them were much bigger than a small house.

Man, how things change...

Well, perhaps the misunderstanding was on my initiation. I think I inadvertently ordered the para sailing with the happy ending.

It depends on wheter you were in Pattaya or Phuket....... in Phuket it would be a mistake in Pattaya it'd be a bonus
