DNC Aftermath in Pictures

Some of the photos below came from this link:

The Democratic Party has boasted that its convention here will be "the most environmentally-sustainable" gathering in the party's history, complete with a director of sustainability, low-power lighting in some areas, and calculations of carbon footprints....Let us stipulate that the Democratic Party, perhaps because it was good marketing or perhaps because it was a sound principle, made an effort to promote recycling here. But whopping huge mounds of trash remain unavoidable--and the presence of idling SUVs--show that the concept remains more of a slogan than reality. (Then again, probably the only way to hold a "green" convention is to do it entirely over the Internet.)

No hybrids in this lineup:

All those U.S. flags waving at the convention sure looked good for television; here's where most of them ended up, apparently.

Re: DNC Aftermath in Pictures

Good grief!!....for a second there I thought this thread was about abortion pictures. DNC is a medical abbreviation for Dilation and curretage. I was about to hit my report button. Whew! Anyways...carry on.

LOL I just saw where you were a moderator. I guess reporting a moderator would be kind of pointless anyway....

Re: DNC Aftermath in Pictures
