GENEVA (Reuters) – The Arctic and Antarctic regions are warming faster than previously thought, raising world sea levels and making drastic global climate change more likely than ever, international scientists said on Wednesday.
New evidence of the trend was uncovered by wide-ranging research in the two areas over the past two years in a United Nations-backed program dubbed the International Polar Year (IPY), they said.
"Snow and ice are declining in both polar regions, affecting human livelihoods as well as local plant and animal life in the Arctic as well as global atmospheric circulation and sea-level," according to a summary of a report by the researchers. It must all be bunk because it was pretty warm here the other day.

News Flash!! Arctic Ice Melts In Warm Weather
Yep, and as the seasons progress, the entire northern hemisphere will gradually continue to warm as well. By the time summer rolls around, some places will be hotter than blue blazes.

Yes. However, it is not supposed to melt seasonally. Call me crazy, but isn't it called Arctic Ice because it is extremely cold? I didn't think things there were named after extremely cold regions should be melting under a normal basis.

Don't buy a home in New Orleans (as if we really needed to be told this anyway).
Oh my, people still believing that people are the cause or that it's even something new. Seasons changed before humans were here, and I'm fairly sure they'll do it after.

Yeah, that's it. This whole global warming thing is just seasonal. Now why didn't these stupid scientists think of that.

And there was a time when Alabama was covered in ice. Believe it are not humans and cars were not on the earth at that time.
