I do read the news. It was more of a joke(a bad one). It was hard to think of a country with a reputation for being soft. France just happened to pop in my head. I am starting to see what rizolltide says is true that everyone is so serious all of the time.

A swarm of B-52s carpet bombing the area followed by F/A-18s precision bombing, follow that up with a swarm of AH-64 Apaches, cleaning up the remnant....that should do the trick.
