Believe it or not, my grandson does exactly that, I live on a canal and he wants to fish, but he won't even put a worm or cricket on a hook. But, he's heavily into martial arts (he's 23) and thinks nothing of punching one of his buddies goofy while sparring.

I found a sort of interesting commentary on the relationship between martial arts and the non-violent ideals of the Eastern religions with which they are associated. Ahimsa and Martial Arts

I'm not really sure why PETA would have a problem with Obama killing the fly, he probably brought it back from the dead as soon as the cameras were off. |
