I heard a radio interview with a ticket recipient today. The lady/girl sounded just giddy that she had a ticket to the festivities - all excited like she was going to The Super Bowl or something.
I don't think I've ever heard anyone so excited to be going to a funeral.
Which leads me to my next comment that Americans, by and large are IDIOTS.
I am guessing it will be a banner day for the 24/7 news outlets. Can I get some betting action on the number of dumpsters that will be set on fire?

I heard that the Air Force is going to buzz Robert McNamara's funeral with a squadron of F-111's in the missing-man formation.
I wonder if there will be anyone outside scalping tickets? Wonder how much a MJ funeral ticket would bring on Ebay?
No scalping. They will be given a ticket and a wristband. If you don't have both, or if the wristband appears to have been tampered with, you don't enter.

click your own link...says it was removed. I heard Saturday that people were scalping them on eBay and had only applied for a ticket, weren't sure they'd get one. Then the story about the wristband and ticket pair are what got you in.

When I posted the link it was still up. In the auction it said you would get a voucher which would allow you to pick up your wrist band, you had to supply your own transportation to LA, etc. I knew one would pop up on ebay it was too predictable.
