Tom Arnold on Hannity last night

Share

I think that Tom Arnold came to an Alabama football practice or two and I had thought that he was a decent guy and at least moderate, by Hollywood standards. So last night he is on Hannity's Great American Panel and while blathering on about how the U.S. needs socialized medicine and how Sotomayor's comment that a wise Latina woman would make better decisions than a white male was not racist, he says "look they still have white and black drinking fountains in Alabama." Often times Hollywood types and other liberal elites make those statements even though they have never set foot in the state. He on the other hand has been to the state and was welcomed at University football practices, so he has to KNOW that that is not true. How anyone could even think that that is still true is beyond me, but he should know better. I hope that someone in the school's administration saw his comments and he is no longer welcome back.

Re: Tom Arnold on Hannity last night

That just shows how bad Hannity has gotten when you have to get Tom Arnold as a guest.

“WHITES ONLY” SIGN POSTER IN NIAGARA FALLS RECEIVES PROBATION
Quote:
The incident drew national attention when Curtis originally faced a much more serious felony hate crime charge, but last October, the Niagara County district attorney’s office agreed to reduce the charges against him after interviewing his fellow public works employees.
Falls police say woman put up racist sign
Quote:
NIAGARA FALLS—Two days after a man was sentenced to probation and community service for putting up a sign as a “joke” in a public works garage that said “whites only” on a drinking fountain, city police were called to a home in the 600 block of 25th Street on Sunday to investigate another racially charged sign.

This one was clearly no joke.

No charges were filed Sunday, but police told the woman she must take down the handwritten sign on a fence on her property saying, “I rent three bedrooms [at her address to] white people Niagara Falls.”
California Mayor’s Racist Email
Quote:
Dean Grose, the mayor of Los Alamitos, sent an email with this photo of the White House lawn covered with watermelons, under the title: “No Easter egg hunt this year.” It get’s better… he sent it to Keyanus Price, a local businesswoman and city volunteer… who is Black! It get’s even better… Grose stated he wasn’t aware of the racial stereotype that black people like watermelons, so he had no idea this “joke” would offend her!
Racism in California
Quote:
Two events happened in California at approximately the same time. One was the recall of Governor Gray Davis and the election of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Governor. This was nationally covered by the news media. The other was the failure of a jury, composed mostly of white suburbanites and no African Americans, to convict the “Riders," a trio of Oakland policemen charged with conspiracy to falsely arrest, file false police reports, plant evidence, assault and kidnap African Americans.

Because there is no racism anywhere but in the South.

So a fair question would be why you thought it necessary to enter a discussion about a celebrity?

Because, if more people would ignore these dweebs, they might shut up.

Tom got drunk enough one day to marry this
This clearly shows he lost his mind.

And the sad part is that is one of her better pictures. But not only is she not one of the pretty people, she is also crazy. I saw her on Bill Maher one night during the election and of course she was putting down SP. RB was complaining about SP hunting wolves from helicopters and from that she went on to say that SP would do away with Roe V Wade. I just thought it was kind of funny that someone would have such a big problem with hunting animals and not have a problem with killing unborn babies.

I agree with you. Ignorant people, whoever they may be, I ignore, but love to hear them say stupid things that show their ignorance. That makes me look better, or at least let me feel better about myself.
Still, you did not answer my question.
You know that I`m just playing with ya

Re: Tom Arnold on Hannity last night

Hannity has always wanted to be Rush Limbaugh, well...for good reason. As far as Tom Arnold, I find him funny, but entertainers who use their success as a political forum bother me. Obama Kool-aid drinkers bother me to the point where I won't watch their movies, buy their products, or even listen to them.
