Backyard Burgers

Share

I had one of their burgers for the first time in over a year today. There is no #2 in the fast food business. Their burger is far and away the best.

I just wanted to voice this opinion, since I never really hear much about them.

I completely agree. I have not had a backyard in a long time, but I remember they were good, but Five Guys is the best. There is a I would go to in Hunstville but when I moved to Kentucky there was not one. Then one opened up here in Lexington, KY over the summer. I have never had a bad experience there. The fries are pretty good too.

Re: Backyard Burgers

Mobile finally has our very own "Five Guys" -- but haven't tried it yet. Better than Cheeburger?

They had one in Clinton, MS for a while, but it went under.

Going home next weekend to see the folks. I have two things on my list: Chick Fil-A, and Krystal. Two things we don't have up here.

Hadn't been to Krystal in years until this past week. They have added a lot of stuff ... Club Krystal's, jalapenos .. I got a couple of the Chik's and a original double.

Re: Backyard Burgers

What the big thing about Five Guys? At Backyard it's the Angus beef and the backyard grill taste. I love Backyard, everything I've ever got there was great, but my favorite is just the plain old Backyard Burger, hold the mayo.

I actually bought some stock in Backyard shortly after I first tried them, but the original guy sold out and the next guy went private with it. I think I bought it at $4.85 and sold it back at $5.30.

I wish they had one in Mobile.

Re: Backyard Burgers

I love Backyard Burgers. They really are the best! But like some of the other posters, it's been awhile since I got one there. But....next time....

They make great burgers. They are the juiciest burgers I have ever had at fast food joint. You get your choice of a ton of different condiments and toppings like A-1 or grilled mushrooms that do not cost extra. They give you a ridiculous amount of fries. They also have peanuts that you can eat while you wait for your burger. It is a great burger joint.

Never order the large fries at Five Guys for just yourself...make sure there are at 2 of you to split the order.

Re: Backyard Burgers

A Five Guys just opened up near here. I'd never heard of it til now. I'll have to give it a try.
