How far is too far? (Tom Cable issue and other similar instances)

I haven't thought enough about it to really come to a solid conclusion on where I stand with this. But I know where I'm leaning. How far is going into someone's personal life in relation to a workplace reprimand is going too far?

If the NFL does anything to Tom Cable for something he did in past relationships then what does that open the door to going forward? Are we gonna see ex-spouses come out of the wood works and start claiming they were abused and the NFL and other employers are going to reprimand them on some level?

Re: How far is too far? (Tom Cable issue and other similar instances)

If the NFL punishes Cable for this, it will really be because he broke the jaw of an assistant coach but the police can't prove it. The NFL already has a protocol for dealing with domestic violence from players and coaches. They rarely look back, but in this case they need to do so. Tom Cable is a man who is lucky not to be in prison. He is a bad man, with a bad attitude, and needs to be made to suffer for his abuses of others...
