Hayden High School Cheerleaders
While off topic for this board I'm bringing this out cause these folks need our prayers. Many of you in the state have heard of the horrible tragedy that occurred last night when 7 of Hayden High School's cheerleaders were in a horrible accident. 3 of the girls died at the scene, the other 4 were sent to the hospital. 2 are to my knowledge still in UAB. I graduated from Hayden almost 15 years ago and still feel connected to this tragedy although I don't personally know any of the girls. That's just how tight knit this community is. One of our own, RTO, is a teacher at the school. I can't imagine the pain not only the students are going through but RTO and the other teachers as well. They not only are grieving but are being looked to for guidance on how to deal with this by what I'm sure is a totally shocked student body. I ask you all to lift up in prayer RTO and the other teachers at Hayden to be able to cope themselves, as well as be that rock the students need them to be. Lift up the families of those that were lost and lift up the injured that their bodies will be healed.

WOW That is awful. Almost the exact same thing happened up here last year to a high chool chearleading team.
My prayers go out to them.

It's almost not fair making college kids play against them. Any Saban-coached team is going to be deep as he!! with recruits that have elite size, strength and experience at their position and they are going to play with incredible physicality. I support PAWS. |

Terrible tragedy. I went though Hayden last month on my way to a pumpkin patch, so I know what a small town it is. I can only imagine how a tragedy such as this one will affect the people living there.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.
