Hello, Pray-ers,
My good buddy Jason needs prayers. Diagnosed in January w/ AML (the worst type of leukemia). A very sick guy now, in the hospital here in H'burg with complications & infections related to his latest chemo dose. (His AML is actually in remission; the chemo is to keep it that way until--prayerfully--a marrow donor match can be found @ UAB).
Jason's in his early 30s, married for 10 years, 3 kids aged 7, 3, and 3 months. He and his wife are among those very rare folks that have zero enemies. Really a remarkable couple. Jason's probably 17 years younger than I, and yet, he's the type of guy I want to be when I grow up. His Dad has said the same exact words.
Anyway, I'd greatly appreciate your prayers for this guy.
There's a blog with info on him here. He's physically one of the strongest guys I know, but the combo of disease + massive chemo is beating him down pretty good.
