Prayer Request For Dave 'Frankie" Toler

Hey ya'll. I just got off the phone across the continent with my dear old friend Dave Toler. Most folks know him as Frankie. Frankie is a great guy and somebody I'd take bullets for. He has played drums alongside his brother Danny Toler since they were 9 and 10 years old playing under the name of Danny and the Upsetters. He and Danny also did a long stint with ABB and he and Danny played on 3 of their albums, as well as most of Gregg Allman's solo efforts. They were also the guitar and drum tandem with Dickey Betts Great Southern. Frankie also played for several years with The Marshall Tucker Band. He's my favorite guy and plays the baddest shuffle going.
Frankie is in the hospital in Sarasota, Fl right now. He's been fighting Hep-C for
around 20 years and it's finally having it's way with him. He may be months away from a possible liver transplant but the doctors only give him several weeks without it.
If ya'll could please put in some good words for him with the man upstairs it would be most welcomed. If at all possible, he needs to have his waiting period streamlined somehow. I don't know how that would be possible without some miracle. Even if you just close your eyes and imagine him well and happy, that would be a blessed thing.
I'm sitting here and listeng to a compilation I put together of the old stuff with Frankie playing on "I'm No Angel", The ABB Dreams album, The Dickey Betts stuff....Man, it makes my heart cry and sing all at the same time.
Anyway, hope ya'll can see your way to ask God to bless Dave "Frankie" Toler.

I'll send up a shout. I loved all those bands and saw them all live in the mid to late 70's. Hep C is nasty; I know, I was diagnosed with it in 1990. Did two rounds of treatment with interferon and right now, my viral load is undetectable. I hope Frankie gets his liver.
