Pray for my Father

Share

My Father William Larry Orr is a alum of the great University of Alabama. He took Engineering down there during the 60's.

He is in the hospital with a heart flutter at St Vincents of Birmingham. He has had a blood pressure of 185/115 and a 120 pulse rate. The Dr's give a very good prognosis. But we need your prayers.

He is in the CVICU. I definitely know how prayers help. My Mom is a prime example.

Dakota, God designed us - he is the Engineer, so to speak. Your dad is in my prayers.

I very much appreciate it.

Got an update. They did a Cardioversion(Shocked his heart) to get his heart back into regular rhythm. He has a 130/60 blood pressure with a 60 pulse rate. They checked his heart throughout and did not find any clots or any issues.

We expect him to be home in time for the Alabama whooping Tutersee at 6:45 on Saturday. If not im watching it in the hospital room.

Good to hear. If Bama gets out to a big lead early, then lets the Viles come back late to make a game of it, you might better not let your Dad watch...

Re: Pray for my Father

UPDATE:

He is still having some issues with his heart. He is at home. I am talking with him to call the doctor so they can determine what is up. He is getting a 140 over 90 with a 100(it has been 121) pulse rate. I am scared to think that his heart might have reverted back to the bad rhythm. If so he might have to go back to the hospital.
