Lots of folks hurting this year...

Share

I have a special request for a prayer at this time of year. A prayer for people who have lost loved ones, maybe in the war or otherwise. I pray for parents who have lost children or children who have lost parents, That God will comfort them and bless them in a special, personal kind of way. The kind of blessing that those hurting will know without a doubt that it came from their Father in Heaven who loves them so very much.
I also pray for those who perhaps have lost a job, and want to provide for their children but can't, or because of financial hardship are fearful of losing their home, that God will work a special miracle in their life, and that He will meet all their needs in a special way. I pray for those who have loved ones who are very sick and need hope so desperately. I pray for those who are alone this Christmas, that God will bless them in a special way and let them know how much He values and loves them. Some of these folks have God's word to hold on to, and that's all.
Thank you Tidefans, and God bless you.

Re: Lots of folks hurting this year...

My husband is a Southern Baptist pastor during this year we have stood with 25 different families during the loss of a loved one. First holidays and other anniversaries are very hard on those left behind.

Also I have noticed fewer homes with Christmas lights and decorations I wonder each time I see a home not decorated "why"?

Thanks for the reminder there are many months ahead for so many that will be"tough".

Things have been tough for my company for the past few months but thanks be to God, our prayers have been answered. The Lord just today provided us with the BIGGEST job we have EVER sold! We have work through the next quarter now.
Praise the Lord! He is in control!
I have been so busy praying for my company that I forgot about others, I must confess. I will now start to pray for others who are having troubles during this recession. Thanks for the reminder!
