Pray for our Country and its new leadership

We're in tougher times than we've been in in a long time. Everyone please pray for our country, it's newly elected leaders, and all its citizens.

We definitely need to, regardless of our political preferences and bias. If he fails miserably, our country is not in a position to recover quickly.

Re: Pray for our Country and its new leadership

Obama is a Marxist. I refuse to pray that a Marxist will succeed in implementing Marxist principles in this country.

However, I'll pray that our country doesn't go to hell in a hand basket because of Barack Obama.

No offense, but you need to check yourself. Things are bad and getting worse soon. My father, who has been the picture of industry stalwart, just lost his job. He was an innovator of his industry. I am stunned.

I hope and pray all you Tidefans are toughing it out.

Sorry to hear about your dad. What industry sector was he in?

Banking computer systems and secure data storage. I'm thinking it might have been age discrimination, but with so many layoffs, who knows.

then maybe pray for the Marxist, but pray that he makes non_marxist decisions....or something. Like him or not, he's leading our country and needs our prayers!

Re: Pray for our Country and its new leadership

O Lord, God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can withstand You.The Bible, II Chronicles 20:6 (NIV)

Presidential Quote
All must admit that the reception of the teachings of Christ results in the purest patriotism, in the most scrupulous fidelity to public trust, and in the best type of citizenship. Those who manage the affairs of government are by this means reminded that the law of God demands that they should be courageously true to the interests of the people, and that the Ruler of the Universe will require of them a strict account of their stewardship.
President Grover Cleveland
