Prayer Requests for a Friend Injured in Iraq

Share

I know we have a prayer requests board, and I understand if the mods decide to move this to that location, but I would have been remiss if I didn't try and get as much notice of this as possible. One of my good friends, only a couple weeks from coming home from Iraq, was injured last night in a road side bomb attack. He has lost a hand and a leg, and he currently is in surgery to remove a piece of shrapnel from his artery. He frankly is lucky to have made it this far, but he is in critical condition and needs our prayers. I'll ask for those now for a fellow member of the Alabama family, and more importantly, a hero to me and every other American. Thank you.

Re: Prayer Requests for a Friend Injured in Iraq

BiB , I wish him the very best for a speedy recovery and hope he's able to lead a life that at least resembles normal going forward . While many have lost focus on the events in Iraq , this reminds us all that it's still a very dangerous place for our troops .
