My Daughter

My wife is 24 weeks pregnant with our third child and we just found out yesterday that the daughter we are expecting has spina bifida. The severity of this condition has a pretty wide range and hers seems to be on the severe side where the vertebrae are not forming properly and remain "open" which is creating fluid build up in her brain and can and usually does result in muscle/brain/organ/nerve damage.

Please keep our little girl in your prayers. In the end I do not know God's plan and I know that this will provide my family with a unique experience that everyone one cannot have. I myself am praying for the strength and wisdom to be the greatest dad/husband that I can possibly be.

God has always has been about providing His Amazing Grace in our greatest hours/days of need. You desire to already to have strength and wisdom will take you a long ways. My prayers. There are support groups out there that can provide a lot of helpful information. My prayers
