Please pray for me

I have suffered from depression for years. I am in the midst of a med adjustment and it cant come too soon. I havent felt this low in years. I have an appointment tomorrow with my doc. Hopefully we can get it right.

Prayers to you BigTex. I am so thankful that you are getting the help you need. I only wish my dad would have done the same thing or someone else would have brought it up and questioned him about depression.

Hang in there Big Tex and you are in our prayers for sure. Get those meds straightened out because I think we will have plenty to be happy about this coming season.

I grew up in a time when we didn't understand these things but now I have a son who has ADD and you learn to understand quickly. I really hope the meds get straightened out and you can get on enjoying your life. If you need anything just let us know and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Depression is a serious illness. We are all praying for you and praying that the new meds are helpful. Keep your chin up.

Doc has upped the dosage on one med , and added another. It can take a few weeks to several weeks to take affect. I appreciate the words of encouragement and prayers !

Hang in there, and remember to stay in close communication with your doc. Any change for the worse, get on the blower and let him know.

It may also be a good idea to seek out psychotherapy. Meds will only take you part way. The most bang for your buck, over the long haul, is to be gotten from the changes you can make as a result of intensive psychotherapy with a psychologist. Especially during med changes, your psychologist can be a lifeline to keep your head on straight.

I hope this finds you well. Depression is a ..... and runs in my family. "Don't let the bastards wear you down". DON'T! Just Don't! Get away from it and spend some time with your family. Try to remember why we feel the way we do - preservation of our families, liberties, and freedoms. Try to decompress and re-remember why you hate collectivism as much as we do. Really, if you ever need me. Let me know if I can help. I'll PM my phone number.

BTW, God has a way of being able to help with these things. If you haven't asked for help from him, try it. It can work....

A Praise !!!! For the first time in weeks I slept through the night. I woke up today in the best frame of mind I have been in for quite sometime !!!! I actually told my wife " you are probably going to get tired of hearing this but for the first time in weeks I really feel good !!! "
