Request for my family and a friend
First, let me ask that you guys pray for a buddy of mine who has been really going through it. In the past five years he's had a divorce, had a new fiance break off an engagement, a heart attack, and last and most seriously he has just been diagnosed with renal cancer. They caught it early but please pray that the can get it all without having to take his kidney. He seems to be taking everything pretty well but all of this bad luck has taken a toll on him. For myself and my family please pray that a get a job I interviewed for this week. I lost my job back in April after my company went under and have a job now but I am trying to make it with roughly a 45% pay cut. It would also be the first step for my wife and I to get back to Tuscaloosa as we have been thinking about moving back for some time. All prayers very much appreciated and I know that the Lord will use all of these situations for good.

We'll remember your friend in our prayers and pray for God's blessings. I saw a church sign last weekend that said "God does not close a door without opening a window" -- hopefully that window will lead you back to Tuscaloosa! We'll remember you in our prayers also. RTR

Good news! My buddy made it through his procedure and they seem to think they got everything and he doesn't even have to do any rounds of chemo or radiation. I also have a fourth meeting with the owners of this company in T-town and I believe that they will be making me an offer tomorrow. I say this because I've had two panel interviews, a phone interview with one of their board members, passed an online predictive behavior assessment, given over ten references, and all of this over the period of a month. So hopefully tomorrow will be an offer. Thanks for all of the prayers and Roll Tide!
