Hello Bama Fans, I have been a member for awhile now but this is my very first Post. My brother is a high School Football coach in Alabama and I got him to give me some information on some of our incoming hopefuls. Roll Tide!!

Here is the scoop on the players that I know about from seeing them (live
or on tape) or from coaching buddies around the state that told me things

4 STAR-Nikita Stover (6-2/190/4.5 40time) WR- Hartselle, Ala (Hartselle HS)
I have seen him on tape and he might be a better athlete than Simeon
Castille at Briarwood. He might be the best player/athlete in the state for
quite some time. He will play right awat wherever he goes. He is definitely
the best player north of B'ham. His 40 time is natural and with some work he
can trim a tenth or so from it at the next level.

3 STAR- Justin Britt (6-5/265/4.8 40time) DL- Cullman, AL (Cullman HS)
Saw him on tape. Potentially a great lineman, but has a serious bad
attitude. Very aggressive and quick for his size with a mean streak. Had
many personal fouls this season.

3 STAR-Trent Davidson (6-5/245/4.6 40time) TE- Brewton, Al (TR Miller) Saw
in person. Super athlete with great coordination for a player his size.
Snaps on punts and extra points. Good hands, but his biggest attribute is
his blocking on sweeps. Did a great job of blocking Nick Walker last week.
Great attitude and work ethic.

2 STAR-Nick Walker (6-5/235/4.8 40time) TE- Brundidge, Al (Pike County)I
have seen him on tape and in person and this kid is very under rated as a
two star. Much better skill wise than the Davidson kid from Brewton. Has
extremely soft hands and catches everything thrown his way. For someone that
only runs a 4.8 he sure got behind the Miller secondary alot. His frame can
carry much more weight and will be running a 4.6 after one off-season in
T-town. He has been fast enough to get behind most teams DBs this season.
Very good basketball player (he can dunk with his teeth) and that serves him
well with the way he uses his body versus DBs. He is a great athlete and can
perform under pressure. He kicked the game winning EXP against Miller last
week in OT after a penalty pushed them back. Interesting point: The Davidson
kid had a poor snap under pressure in OT that led to the kicker being wide
right on the EXP. If that kick is good then Miller might be in B'ham this
week not Pike. Walker has the intangibles that cannot be scored or rated.

2 STAR-Aaron Mcdaniel (6-1/170/4.5 40time) WR- Fort Payne, Al (Ft.Payne) I
have not seen this kid, but have been told that he is over rated. However other coaches have told me he could be a star so the jury is out on him.

2 STAR-Aaron Johns (5-10/185/4.5 40time) DB- Thomasville, Al (Thomasville
HS) A good HS running back, but his collegiate future is definitely on
defense. A very good tackler and outstanding hitter.

2 STAR-Ezekial Knight (6-3/210/4.5 40time) WR- Wedowee, Al (Randolph County
HS) I have heard that he shines in the spotlight and could be a major
sleeper. Could actually bulk up and play another position (like OLB). I have
been told that he is a good hitter.

3 STAR-Simeon Castille (6-2/190/4.4 40time) S- Bham (Briarwood) Saw him in
person and on much tape. He is not as big as advertised. He still looks
skinny in pads. That being said, he is a player. I think his future is at WR
or CB. He plays safety and RB at Briarwood. He hits like he is bigger, but
he is definitely not D-1 safety material. But, he is definitely D-1 CB
material. Much more like his daddy than his older brother. I had flashbacks
of watching Jeremiah killing us in HS when I saw Simeon play in the second
round against Eufaula. He lined up 8 to 10 yards off the ball and was
tackling Eufaula's pitch man in the backfield. Amazing quickness and great
ability to read the offensive play.

2 STAR- Cody Green (6-5/302/5.4) OL- Cullman, Al (Cullman HS) Saw him on
tape and I was impressed with his run blocking. He is a snow plow and if he
improves his feet (which will improve his pass blocking) then he will be a
D-1 lineman. Might be a starting right offensive tackle by his third year.
Great upper body strength, but his problems are below the waist, well...
below the knees really. Being on the OL today means you must have good feet.
He does have something that you cannot coach or teach and that is great size
and frame that could easily tote another 40 or 50 pounds.

Great Post, I kinda like the fact that Justin Britt has a mean streak. We need that. TiderinVA, I am from Grove Hill(Bj Stablers hometown) but Thomasville is 10 minutes up the road. I have been to about 4 Thomasville games this year. From what I see, AJ has good hands. Although most of his catches were out of the backfield on screen passes. 9-10 times he took them to the house. That is a fact. I think he ends up playing some type of running back/flanker. Not sure he can carry the ball 25-30 times a game and make it. But then again, I never thought Shaud would do that either. He is a great blocker and a great hitter. He did not play much D this year. Most of his hits were on blocks.

Let's just get them all signed! And let's hope they all take care of their classwork...we can't afford partials or non-quals! We need STUDENT ATHLETES! With only 19 to give we can't miss on a single kid!
