Gallion is the point man for the law firm Haskell Slaughter Young & Gallion in a $60 million defamation lawsuit against the NCAA for Cottrell and Williams, who initially were named in the organization's punitive actions against Alabama during the Albert Means recruiting scandal.
Gallion is attempting to prove the NCAA erred in naming Williams and Cottrell through the use of secret witnesses while allegedly ignoring violations at the University of Tennessee, whose boosters and head football coach, Phillip Fulmer, are behind a conspiracy against Alabama, according to Gallion.
It is an ugly case and could get uglier.
