Rolando McClain and Kerry Murphy named to the 2007 Parade All-American Football Team

Parade names Decatur’s McClain an All-American

McClain is one of two in-state players to make the 58-member team, which was selected by reporters, coaches, scouts and recruiters. The other is Hoover’s Kerry Murphy, a 6-foot-4, 320-pound lineman. Like McClain, Murphy has committed to play at Alabama.

Robert Marve and John Brown are named Parade All-American's

Area Trio Earns Parade Honors

Plant senior quarterback Robert Marve, Armwood senior defensive end Torrey Davis and Lakeland senior defensive end John Brown have received so much recognition lately, it seemed just a matter of time before they would be honored by a parade.

All three Tampa Bay area standout players have been named to Parade's 44th annual All-America High School Football Team, which honors the top players from across the nation.
