How do you like San Diego? I was stationed at NASNI many moons ago and was wondering how the town looked now a days. Used to eat pizza at this joint in Coronado that had the best pizza on the west coast. TDY to San Clemente Island a little bit, went up to Miramar a few times and to the MCRD

I love San Diego. It is a wonderful place to live. I have a good friend that lives on Coronado Island. I just moved from La Jolla after 4 years to Las Vegas, Nevada. I guess I will have to change my user name to Crimson Sands or something. lol I am a born and raised Alabaman. I was born in Birmingham and moved to Tuscaloosa where I graduated from Tuscaloosa High. They were the Black Bears back then. I noticed that you are from Mobile. I lived there for 7 years. I miss the Mardi Gras' down there and over in New Orleans. Take care.

You know there is some guy in Nevada that throws a Joe Cain Day aroung Mardi Gras, but I don't know if he's in vagas or Reno.

They have a sort of Mardi Gras celebration in Las Vegas at the casino's. And every night at the Rio they have a Mardi Gras style parade and show inside the casino. They even have a Parade through downtown and block party for Mardi Gras in San Diego but nothing is the same as the real thing.
