Description:
I think this recipe is a repeat but I'm making one tomorrow to get rid of some canned peaches and thought someone else may have some peaches to get rid of. You could use apples, pineapple, berries or cherries.

If you like cobbler this is as easy and good as it gets.
Other: Ingredients:
Time:
less than 1 hour
Difficulty:
EZ
Serving Size:
6
  1. 1 large or 2 regular cans peaches and juice
  2. 1 cup flour
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 1 stick butter
  5. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  6. 3/4 to 1 cup milk
  7. 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  8. 3 tsp sugar (optional)
Preparation:
  1. Preheat oven 375F
Instructions:
  1. Melt the butter in a 2 qt casserole
  2. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and milk together in a bowl (cinnamon is optional in this step)
  3. Arrange peaches and juice in casserole over the butter.
  4. Pour the batter mix on top and bake 30-45 minutes till golden brown.
  5. Top can be sprinkled with optional 3 tsp sugar if wanted.

Re: EZ Peach Cobbler

Last night I had a hankering for peach cobbler... I made this recipe, and it didnt turn out right... The crust part turned out fine, but the peach part was too thin and runny.. You did say use the peaches AND the juice right?

This is a recipe my family has used for years so I'll answer based on how my family makes it... Nope, don't use the peach juice in addition to the milk. Well, let me say that all you want is about 1 cup of liquid - I mix a little of the peach juice in with my milk, but still only 1 cup of liquid.

Re: EZ Peach Cobbler

I'm making this one this weekend using canned pineapple and frozen blueberries.
