Description:
Velveta Shells and Cheese with Taco Seasoned Ground Beef
Other: Ingredients:
Time:
N/A
Difficulty:
Too easy
Serving Size:
Feeds 6 to 8
  1. 2-pounds of ground beef
  2. 24 ounce box of Velveta Shells and Cheese
  3. Old Elpaso Taco Seasoning
Instructions:
  1. Brown the ground beef
  2. Add Taco Seasoning while browning meat
  3. While Browning meat, start water for the pasta
  4. Drain grease/fat out of pan
  5. While meat is still on the burner, mix cheese into the pasta
  6. Add the whole pan of meat and mix

It's great...I tend to use a little more seasoning because I like the taco flavor to be there over the cheesy taste. I like to call this dish "The Upper Class" Hamburger Helper!

You might want to start buying taco seasoning in bulk or make your own. If you don't have your own recipe try this.

1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

It's also good to use as fajita seasoning.
