Description:
Great use of cedar planks on your backyard grill. Imparts a smoky flavor to your grilled salmon.
Other: Ingredients:
Time:
25 minutes
Difficulty:
Easy
Serving Size:
4 6 oz salmon filets
  1. 4 salmon filets (6 oz filets)
  2. 2 tblspoons honey
  3. ¼ cup dijon mustard
  4. 1 tspoon dried dill
  5. 1 tspoon yellow mustard seeds
  6. ½ tspoon kosher salt
  7. Butter
  8. Cedar plank (for grilling)
Preparation:
  1. Soak cedar plank for an hour before grilling.
  2. Pre-heat grill to 350 degrees before grilling.
  3. Mix all ingredients together (save for butter) in mixing bowl and spread over salmon filets.
  4. Reserve 2 tablespoons of spread for spreading over grilled filets.
Instructions:
  1.  Place cedar plank on grill, close grill and let plank grill for 3 minutes
  2.  Flip plank, and lay salmon filets across plank and close grill.
  3.  Cook until filets are done. Do not flip or turn filets.
  4.  My filets are done after they reach 130 degrees temperature. (Use a meat thermometer)
  5.  Mix a melted butter into the spread, then coat the filets after you take them off the grill.
  6.  Serving suggestions: steamed zuchini and wild rice as sides.
  7.  Serves 4
