Quick & Easy Boston Cream Pie

Can't take credit for this one -- saw it in a Kraft magazine -- but too simple not to post!

Serving Size:
10 servings - 1 piece ea
  1. 1 round yellow cake layer (8 or 9 inch)
  2. 1 cup cold milk
  3. 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) Vanilla Instant Pudding
  4. 1-1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping
  5. 1 square BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate
  6. 1 Tbsp. butter
  7. 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  8. 2 Tbsp. cold milk
Instructions:
  1. Cut cake into 2 layers with serrated knife.
  2. Beat 1 cup milk and pudding mix with whisk 2 min. Stir in Cool Whip. Let stand 5 min.
  3. Stack cake layers on serving plate, spreading pudding mixture between layers.
  4. Microwave chocolate and butter on high 1 min.
  5. Stir until chocolate is melted.
  6. Add sugar and 2 Tbsp. milk; mix well.
  7. Spread over cake.
  8. Refrigerate 1 hour. Refrigerate leftovers.
